Uganda

This eight day safari includes the Mountain Gorillas in Uganda or Rwanda, game viewing, optional chimp tracking in Chamburu Gorge and bird-watching in Queen Elizabeth National Park, including a boat cruise, and a visit to Ngamba island chimpanzee sanctuary. 4 days with your english-speaking Egyptologist - guide for a morning visit to the ancient capital of Memphis to view the Alabaster Sphinx and Ramses11's tomb. Then on to Sakkara to see the original Step Pyramid, the Wall of Cobras and the Tomb of Ti paintings. In the afternoon visit the Great Pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx of Giza which stand on a desert plateau, majestically as they have been for 35 centuries. Visit the Solar Boat Museum all and many other sites.

East Africa, Tanzania

Visit the spectacular Masai Mara game reserve, all with superb photographic opportunities. The most spectacular feature is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the plains of Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara's grasslands from late June, tracked by predators: lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena and circled by vultures as the journey unfolds. Apart from the seasonal migration, game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes: - elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, Burch ell's zebra, hartebeest, various antelope and gazelle, lion, leopard, giraffe, elephant cheetah, hippo, crocodile and much more.

Namibia

The surrounding area lends itself to numerous activities which include scenic drives by four-wheel drive vehicle on the NamibRand Nature Reserve where you encounter a variety of desert animals such as gemsbok, zebra, springbok, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, caracal and jackal. At the end of the day the blanket of stars, which lights up the desert sky, are brought to life through the lodge's high-powered computerised telescope. Housed in a separate building, this Meade Telescope affords the amateur and the professional stargazer a close-up view of the galaxy.
